CALL FOR ANTHOLOGY THEME IDEAS

So I've been thinking: I love anthologies. Probably my favorite anthology of all time is GOOD POEMS edited by Garrison Keillor.

It's an accessible collection, including poems by the old white guys, the young hip folks and pretty much every variation in between. And the subject matter is pretty basic: animals, lovers, children, aging, etc. My favorite individual section? YELLOW.

Say we decide to  publish an anthology. What should it be about? What kind of poems?

Suggestions I've gotten so far:

persona poems
ekphrasis
science -themed
love poems
spiritual/religious poems

Nothing here is making me say, YES, let's do it! And of course we've got to have a theme before we can proceed. So, poets and poetry lovers: on what theme would you like to read/contribute? Leave your suggestions in comments or feel free to shoot me an email: churndashpress at charter.net.
